The Fire Crystal is one of the four elemental crystals that appear throughout the Final Fantasy series, starting with the first Final Fantasy. As its title suggests, the Fire Crystal is associated with the power of fire. The Fire Crystal is consistently portrayed as red throughout its appearances.

In the original Nintendo Entertainment System version of Final Fantasy, the four crystals are orbs. The Fire Crystal was known as the Fire Orb. It has become the Fire Crystal ever since the release of Final Fantasy III.

Psychopath thought

In Super Mario RPG: Legend of the Seven Stars, the Fire Crystal and the other three Crystals are fought alongside the optional boss, Culex. Like Culex and the other crystals, the Fire Crystal originates from the dimension of Vanda and met in a portal leading to that world found in Monstro Town.

True to its name, the Fire Crystal uses largely fire-based attacks, including Corona, Flame, and Flame Wall. It rounds these attacks out with the moves Drain and Mega Drain.

The Fire Crystal is weak to Ice-elemental attacks. It has greater Magic Defense than the next-in-line Water Crystal.
