A user page is a personal page belonging to a user. Basically, it is an expression of who they are and what they do on the Square Enix Wiki. It is the main page within the userspace, which also consists of a talk page and subpages to a user's user page.
Editing
While everyone is allowed to have a userpage, a user cannot continuously edit their page as it will be considered spam. If a user is performing said "fluff" editing, they will be warned by the wiki's administration, and if it continues, may be issued a short block.
Users found editing other users' userpages without consent will be given a warning and/or be given a short block. However, this may slide for users fixing minor template/spelling fixes to a userpage.
Users cannot use certain templates. This is due to the fact certain templates add categories, which are only fit to be used for articles, not for profile pages. The templates will be removed and users warned.
A user shouldn't make their own templates just to place them on their own page. Instead, the code of that template can simply be used on the userspace. Codes can be tested at a user's personal sandbox by creating a subpage at MyPage/sandbox.
A user must not place links to articles that don't exist. Instead, they can link to a user's sandbox pages, or using external links.
Multiple user pages
You can create a separate user page for every Miraheze wiki that you edit. If you occasionally edit more than one, the community may find it helpful if you just link to your main userpage from the other wikis you edit. For example, if you usually edit the Square Enix Wiki, and occasionally edit the Mario and Viva Piñata wikis, you can add this to your user page on the Mario Wiki and the Viva Piñata Wiki respectively:
- My home wiki is the [[mh:squareenix|Square Enix Wiki]]. See my [[mh:squareenix:Special:MyPage|user page]] there.
which will display as:
- My home wiki is the Square Enix Wiki. See my user page there.
User images
Users are allowed to upload ten of their own images to their userspace. These are called personal images, and they are not allowed to be used outside of the userspace. Others may use someone's personal images if they are given permission by the original uploader.
