White Mages are a recurring class in the Final Fantasy franchise. They are the opposite of Black Mages, although similar to them, White Mages have low Attack and Defense but strong magical power. White Mages specialize in the use of healing spells, although it is possible for them to use a powerful offensive spell named Holy. White Mages make their debut in the first Final Fantasy.
